Richard "Dick" Gordon...A native of Montrose/McCook County, SD. Dick has lived in Salem for over 25 years, and now resides in Humboldt, SD. Dick was a member of the Salem Fire Department for over 20 years, served as the Fire Chief, and was instrumental in starting the McCook County Search & Rescue Team, and was an active member of that team for well over 20 years! This man is a "natural" in the car and truck business and has been in the automotive field one way or the other since his high school days. Dick always enjoys visiting with friends and customers and helping people any way that he can! As many of you know, Dick owned and operated a very successful Auto-Body business in Salem for nearly 18 years. After selling his business to a former employee, Dick accepted the position of Service Manager for the GM/Chrysler dealership in Salem. In 2004, Dick signed-on as an equal partner with the AutoEx project and worked tirelessly getting the business started. John D. McCormick...John is a native of Salem, SD, and has lived here his entire life. John is a 35 year veteran of the Salem, Fire Department, served as Fire Chief, and has been active in many civic, community, and church organizations. John's roots go back to his father who was a Ford Dealer from 1949 until his death in 1965. He remembers always being anxious to go to "The Garage" as soon as school was out to be with his dad. There is no part of the car and truck car business that John dislikes...he has been selling since 1972 when he went to work for Wayne Doss in Salem, SD selling International Trucks and Machinery. In 1984 he left Wayne Doss to join his family at the Ford Dealership in Salem, selling Ford cars and trucks and remained there until his departure in early 2005. John is also part-owner of the entertainment group Something New. He has toured and performed the 5-state region for nearly 30 years! John is an equal partner with AutoEx and was on-board from day one with the AutoEx project, has a wealth of hands-on business experience, and looks forward to a long and meaningful career in the Automotive Business.
